Amino acid fluorides and their use in preparing peptides |
abstract |
Novel amino acid fluorides of the formula (I) where R?1 represents a benzyloxycarbonylic or 9-fluorenylmehoxycarbonylic group, R?2 is a hydrogen atom or an amino acid residue and R?3 is a hydrogen atom, a methyl radical or together with R?2 forms an amino acid residue. The amino acid fluorides of formula (I) are reacted with an amino acid or peptide in a solvent in the presence of a hydrofluoric acid fixing agent in order to prepare dipeptides or superior peptides. |
