abstract |
The invention relates to a cathodic electrical painting process in which the electric bath paint contains a cross-linking agent obtainable by reacting: a) a diol and/or a triol or a mixture of diols and/or of triols; b) 4,4' diphenyl methane diisocyanate, the melting point of which has been lowered so far by partial reaction with a mono and/or polyol or a mixture of mono-ols and/or of polyols that it is fluid at room temperature; and c) a blocking agent or a mixture thereof; to obtain an isocyanate-group-free cross-linking agent. |
