abstract An improvement in a process for the transalkylation of at least one polyalkylbenzene in the presence of a transalkylation catalyst, which comprises providing the catalyst as a slurry of catalyst particles. This improvement enables one to carry out transalkylation reactions at lower benzene to alkyl groups ratios, and at higher space velocities, enabling increased reactor productivities and increased catalyst life.
