abstract | A novel oxypropylene polymer containing a reactive silicon group, wherein the main polymer chain essentially comprises the repeating units of formula (α), at least one reactive silicon group and at least one urethane bond are present at the terminals of the polymer chain, the ratio of M^¨B7w to M^¨B7n is 1.5 or less, and the number-average molecular weight is 3,000 or above. The production process comprises reacting an oxypropylene polymer having a ratio of M^¨B7w to M^¨B7n of 1.5 or less and a number-average molecular weight per unit terminal function of 1,500 or above with a compound having both a reactive silicon group and an isocyanate group. |
