abstract A therapeutic apparatus used for cutting, incision, suture, transpiration or thermotherapy of a tissue of, e.g. a human body by applying laser beam to the tissue. This apparatus is provided with a laser beam generator, two laser beam guide probes opposed to each other and two laser beam transmission systems for leading the laser beam from the laser beam generator to the guide probe. The laser beam emitting parts of these guide probes can be freely moved toward, and away from, each other by the operator. Thus the laser beam is led into each guide probe through the respective laser beam transmission system, and the affected part of a patient is interposed between the beam emitting parts of the probes.
