abstract |
The invention provides a biologically active recombinant human M-CSF derivative characterized by having a primary amino acid sequence wherein a C-terminus is present somewhere in the region ranging from 153-position Thr to 522-position Val while an N-terminus is present at 3-position Val or 4-position Ser and Met may optionally be added to the N-terminus of such an amino acid sequence in the mature human M-CSF amino acid sequence; an expression vector of said M-CSF derivative; a product of transformation caused by said vector; and a method of producing the M-CSF derivative by culturing said product of transformation and taking up the M-CSF derivative thus expressed. |
