The use of a swellable plastic in which additives like carbon, metal particles or the like are dispersed is proposed for the manufacture of a resistive moisture sensor. In a process for making such a resistive moisture sensor, swellable plastics, especially polyimides and/or copolyimides, are dissolved in a polar solvent like N-methyl pyrrolidone, whereafter conductivity additives like soot are dispersed in the solution and uniformly distributed and then the solution is applied to an inert substrate (1) and dried. |
