Sequenced copolymers orientable so as to have a non-linear optical activity |
abstract |
The present invention relates to sequenced polymers comprising hyperpolarisable groups. These sequenced polymers comprise elastomeric (organopolysiloxane) and thermoplastic (polyurethane) sequences. The hyperpolymerisable groups are present especially in the thermoplastic sequences. These polymers may be polarised under the effect of a polarisation field in the low-temperature ranges like ambient temperature and very quickly revert to their unpolarised state once the polymerisation field is removed. |
