abstract The invention relates to the cloning and sequencing of the nucleic acid coding for human testicular ECA, and for the determination of the peptide sequence of said ECA. It is more particularly concerned with the use of nucleotide probes which can be hybridized with all or part of the above-mentioned nucleic acid, as well as with the polyclonal or monoclonal antibodies which specifically recognize all or part of the sequence above-mentioned, and with use of said probes or said antibodies for the implementation respectively of an $i(in vitro) method for the detection either of the RNA messenger coding for testicular ECA, or directly of testicular ECA.
