titleOfInvention | Process for the preparation of sulphonylmethanes and their derivatives |
abstract | The subject matter of the invention is a process of synthesis of sulphonylmethanes and their derivatives corresponding to the formula M[(RSO2)2CH]m (I), in which M represents H, an alkaline or alkaline-earth metal or (a), R' and R are monovalent organic radicals and m represents the valency of M. The process is characterised by the fact that an ionic carbide is made to react with a sulphonyl halide, the product of which is hydrolysed; before or after hydrolysis, a compound MyYm is added to the reactive medium, Y representing an anion capable of forming, with the cation of the ionic carbide, a compound which can be separated from the compound (I), and y representing the valency of Y. |
