titleOfInvention Process for the selective excitation of nmr signals
abstract In many NMR experiments, the use of 270° Gauss pulses instead of the usual selective 90° pulses enables samples to be excited at selected frequencies, this excitation being largely free of phase errors and thus obviating, in many cases, the need for the rephasing operations which are normally necessary.
