Method and plant for treating organically charged sewage |
abstract |
With a method and an apparatus for treating liquid manure (1) it becomes possible to perform a considerable reduction in the initial costs as smaller tanks may be used and it becomes possible to operate a plant in such a way that it may be operated by a non-specialized expert. This is obtained because the manure is subjected to a chemical pretreatment (2) consisting of an acid mixing (3) and a base mixing (4). The order of these mixings is arbitrary. The treated product is used and filtered (5) and drained (6) for the formation of a sludge fraction (9) with a high content of solids. The reject water fraction (6) is then diaphragm filtered (7). The pure water (10) may be discharged directly while the nutritive salts and other impurities which are separated in the diaphragm filter are conducted back to the manure supply (1). |
