A production method of a color filter in accordance with the present invention comprises forming an inorganic active film layer on a transparent substrate, dyeing the inorganic active film layer in a first color, forming a resist at portions other than the portion which is to be dyed in a second color, carrying out decoloration treatment, dyeing the inorganic active film layer in the second color, peeling off the resist, forming another resist at portions other than the portion which is to be dyed in a third color, carrying out decoloration treatment, dyeing the inorganic active film layer in the third color and peeling off the resist. |
