Polypeptide-induced monoclonal receptors to protein ligands |
abstract |
An assay method for the detection of the presence of an oncoprotein ligand in a body sample such as serum, a cell extract, amniotic fluid, urine or a urine concentrate which comprises mixing the body sample with an anti-oncoprotein receptor and measuring the formation of a complex. The receptor is a monoclonal molecule raised to polypeptides whose amino acid residue sequences correspond to the sequences of oncoprotein ligands which also binds to the oncoprotein ligand. |
