abstract | Tetrahydropyridine derivatives represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1? represents an unsubstituted or substituted saturated cycloalkyl group, R2? and R3? each represents halogen, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, acyl or arylcarbonyl, and m and n each represents an integer of 0 to 4 provided that R2? groups and R3? groups may be the same or different when m and n are 2 or more) and acid addition salts thereof are disclosed. These compounds are useful as psychotropic drugs acting on central nerves of mammals to exhibit psychoactivating, antianxiety, and learning-improving effects which have been found by the inventors for the first time. |
