titleOfInvention | Oxidative hair dyes |
abstract | The hair dyes disclosed contain oxidative dye fabricated materials with customary developer components in a cosmetic carrier and, as coupler components, dihydroxybenzamides of general formula I, in which R?1 and R?2 independently of each other denote hydrogen or alkyl groups with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl groups each with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, pyridyl groups or groups of formula (II) in which n = 0 to 4 and R?3-R?6 stand for hydrogen or hydroxyl groups, alkyl or alkoxy groups with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl groups each with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl groups each with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, for NR?7 R?8 groups in which R7 and R8 are hydrogen, or alkyl groups with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, hydroxyalkyl or aminoalkyl groups each with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, or for the carboxyl group, whereby at least two of the R?3-R?6 residues are hydrogen atoms and not more than one residue is a carboxyl group. The hair dyes are characterized by excellent fastness to light and cold waving and by improved evenness, i.e., very uniform distribution on the hair from the hair line to the hair tips. |
