titleOfInvention Process and arrangement for controlling a biological growth process
abstract In a biological growth process, the substrate supply is controlled by introducing the substrate pulsewise into a bioreactor (BR) in a sequence of cycles (Z). A cycle (Z) consists of a time-interval (T1) in which the substrate flow assumes comparatively high values and a subsequent time-interval (T2) in which the substrate flow assumes comparatively low values. The substrate flow is established by determining the growth phases occurring in a cycle by means of a logical model.
