titleOfInvention Process for producing concentrates from aqueous liquids
abstract The aqueous liquid is conveyed through a pipe (3) by means of a longitudinal conveyor (4) in a continuous process during which it is first chilled in a cooling region (6) until the water turns to ice. The liquid containing the ice crystals formed in the cooling region is then conveyed through a separating region (9) in which the liquid is extracted and the residues are separated from the ice crystals by suction or by blowing air over the surface of the ice crystals. The ice crystals, which consist virtually of pure water, are transported to another station where they are separated.
