abstract In a process for automatic, fully selective analysis of blood or its constituents, an electronic code carrier (3) without battery is attached to a primary vessel (2). Patient and sample data are stored without contact in the electronic code carrier (3) so as to be readable whenever and wherever an electronic reading head is available. Blood samples can thus be analysed automatically and fully selectively without the use of a central data processing installation.
