abstract Apparatus and a method for adhering a flexible soft polarizing film (108) to a curved surface (110) of a prescription eyeglass to be made into a polarizing lens is disclosed. The method involves glass-casting, and preformation of the film in a manner calculated to have a minimum hardening/drying effect. Air is excluded during lamination without the need for a vacuum and the attendant complications.
