abstract A process of microencapsulation of substances which are solid at ambient temperature but have a low melting point is described. The substances are first melted and microencapsulated in the form of droplets in order to obtain a finished product whose characteristics are better than those which are obtained when the substance is microencapsulated in the solid state and, in particular, with a high concentration of the active principle.
