titleOfInvention | Aromatic diamines with sulphur groups, their preparation and their application as hardeners of epoxy resins |
abstract | New aromatic diamines with sulphone and ether or thioether groups, having the formula H2N-R1-SO2-R2-X-Z-X-R2-SO2-R1-NH2 where R1 and R2 each designate a C6 to C20 aromatic radical, the Xs each represent an atom of oxygen or sulphur and Z is a C1 to C20 divalent organic radical. The diamines are prepared by the action of a compound of formula H2N-R1-SO2-R2-Cl on an alkaline salt of a compound of formula HX-Z-XH by operating in an aprotic polar solvent. Application of diamines as hardeners of epoxy resin based formulations associated or not with a reinforcing fibrous material. |
