A method for recovering volatile compounds other than water from atmosphere, especially an atmosphere evacuated from spaces, in which materials containing volatile compounds are manufactured, handled, stored or used. The atmosphere (1) is first relieved from water vapour preferably by adsorption (4, 5) and then cooled to condensation (12, 24) of the volatile compounds preferably in two steps, of which the first is a cooling step applying a heat pump. The condensed volatile compounds are tapped off. |
