abstract |
A cosmetic for hair and skin contains new N-hydroxypropylisopropylether-chitosans composed of a) 4 to 40 mol % of monomer units having the formula (I) and b) 60 to 96 mol % of monomer units having the formula (II), in which R1 and R2 are identical or different and represent hydrogen or the group (A), where n equals 1 or 2, provided that in at least half of the units having the formula (II) R1 and R2 do not simultaneously represent hydrogen. New N-hydroxypropylisopropylether-chitosans are also disclosed. |
