abstract Quantities of food provided for a predetermined day are memorized in a first memory means (11-19) and the quantities of food taken during the preceding days are memorized in a second memory means (21). Computer means (22, 23) determine the recommended quantities of food for the predetermined day as a function of the quantities taken during the preceding days. The recommended quantities are memorized in a third memory means (30, 31) and comparison means (40-41) compare the estimated quantities with the recommended quantities. The device, used with or without scales, provides for a healthy and balanced nutrition.
