titleOfInvention A disposable microtiter stick
abstract A disposable microtiter stick used in performing chemical immunuoassay tests to determine allergies and ailments of humans and animals that comprises an elongated one-piece flat bottomed polystyrene stick (25) having a series of shallow lense-bottomed wells (26) and a handle extension (28) projected from one end thereby by which the stick can be grasped and lifted. The wells (26) are made shallows so they can be emptied simultaneously on taking the handle (28) and with but a flip of the stick (25) by snap of the wrist instantly ridded of their entire contents. A raised boundary border (31) extends about the top face of the stick (25) surrounding all of the wells (26) so that all wells (26) are filled all at one time with reagent or specimen by simply flooding the bordered top surface area of the stick (25). All of the surfaces of the stick (25) including the well wall surfaces, except for their optically transparent bottom lense (26') viewing areas, are frosted. The bottom surface of the stick (25) is flat so the stick (25) can be rested upon a flat supporting surface but is recessed beneath the lense view areas (26') so as to be kept from being scratched.
