abstract | A process for fractionating proteins comprises the precipitation of said proteins by means of a fatty acid such as caprylic acid. To collect the proteins in soft conditions and to recycle the fatty acid in order to obtain purified and concentrated proteins, the fatty acid is diffused through a porous support (3) impregnated with a solution forming a non-miscible liquid membrane on the one hand with the charge to be treated (6), which is comprised of a solution of fatty acid and proteins, the solution being supplied on one side (1) of the porous support (3) impregnated with the liquid membrane and, one the other hand, with a fatty acid reception phase (4) which is supplied on the other side (2) of the porous support (3). |
