abstract A polyethylene composition having an excellent melt moldability, which substantially comprises an ultra-high-molecular polyethylene having a molecular weight of, for example, about 1,650,000 or more and a low-molecular to high-molecular polyethylene. This composition can be produced according to a multi-stage polymerization process involving the step of producing the ultra-high-molecular polyethylene and the step of producing the low-molecular to high-molecular polyethylene.
