The method is implemented with a probe containing a fragment of DNA hybridable with the fragment EcoRI of 2.8 kb obtained from the euchromatic region of the large arm of the chromosome Y and deposited on the 29/06/1984 at the Collection Nationale des Cultures de Micro-organismes under the No I/312, said hybridation being performed or maintained in the presence of a solution 0.1 x SSC, at 65-68?oC, more particularly 68?oC.
