| abstract | The disclosed pedal-operated boat is built in three separate shells (1), (2) and (3) assembled by fish-plates (39-40) facilitating the positioning and the locking device (41 to 45) which provides for a strong and rigid trimming and enables at the same time, by means of complementary fish-plates (47 to 52) to perform an automatic trimming of the boat on a roof rack of a car or on a trailer. The propulsion and the steerings are effected by means of an orientable and retractable propeller (58) which is driven by a notched belt (53), which belt is twisted without any lateral offset by means of orientable pulleys (91 to 93) which are specially arranged. The pedal-operated boat according to the invention is built to be manoeuvrable both on land and on water. |
