titleOfInvention Cationic electrocoating method
abstract Upon carrying out the electrodeposition with the use of a cationic electrocoating material which is controlled at pH value of from 6 to 8, a method of simultaneously regulating both of pH value and solids content concentration by replenishing a coating material which is lower in neutralization degree than that of the coating material which is conventionally used in the electrocoating method, without damaging its water dispersion property. The coating material to be replenished to the cationic electrocoating material is preliminarily prepared by mixing a composition in which the replenishing coating material is mixed with the conventionally-used electrocoating material so as to make the solids content concentration of from 30 to 45% by weight or/and a preliminary mixture in which the replenishing coating material is mixed with the conventionally-used electrocoating material so as to make the solids content concentration of from 25 to 30% by weight or from 45 to 50% by weight with the conventionally-used electrocoating material so as to make the solids content concentration of from 10 to 30% by weight.
