abstract |
A hot water-soluble male hook-and-loop fastener which comprises a base material and a plurality of male engagement elements that protrude from the surface of the base material, and which is characterized in that: both the base material and the male engagement elements contain a polyvinyl alcohol resin that has a polymerization degree within the range of 300 to 700 and a saponification degree within the range of 80 to 99% by mole; and the base material and the male engagement elements are both soluble in hot water at a temperature of 45 to 90°C, but are not soluble in water at a temperature less than 45°C. |
