titleOfInvention IN VITRO DIAGNOSIS METHOD FOR PERIODONTAL DISEASES, AND Pg BACTERIUM DETECTION METHOD
abstract An in vitro diagnosis method for periodontal diseases according to the present invention comprises: bringing a specimen derived from the oral cavity of a subject into contact with an electrode, and conducting electrochemical measurement in anaerobic environment in the presence of a glucogenic amino acid and an electron mediator; and providing, if generation of an electronic current is detected as a result of the electrochemical measurement, information for determining that a periodontal disease has advanced in the oral cavity of the subject. With the in vitro diagnosis method for periodontal diseases according to the present invention, information for determining the state of advance of a periodontal disease can be provided by a simple operation.
