The present invention discloses novel synthetic peptides that are inhibitors of Elk-1 phosphorylation by ERK1/2 kinases. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing said peptides and to the use thereof as medicaments. A method for identifying and optimising novel inhibitors of Elk-1 phosphorylation by ERK1/2 is also disclosed. |
