abstract |
A continuous polymerization reactor for a highly absorbent resin is disclosed. The continuous polymerization reactor comprises: a cylindrical main body; a discharge part which is located below the main body and has a diameter gradually decreasing downward; an inlet which is located at an upper portion and connected to the main body to allow a monomer composition to be loaded; an outlet which is located below the discharge part to allow a hydrogel polymer to be discharged; and a discharge valve that opens or closes the outlet, wherein a ratio (H1/D1) of the sum (H1) of the height of the main body and the height of the discharge part to the diameter (D1) of the main body may be 2 to 4. In addition, a continuous polymerization reaction system comprising the continuous polymerization reactor is further disclosed. |
