abstract | Disclosed are an electronic device having a housing with a matte surface and a manufacturing method therefor. Electronic devices according to various embodiments of the present invention are electronic devices comprising a housing, wherein the housing may comprise: a base material containing an aluminum alloy; a plurality of pits formed adjacent to each other on the surface of the base material; and grain boundary protrusions formed by the protrusion of grain boundary portions of the surface of the base material onto the surface. A manufacturing method for a housing for an electronic device may comprise: an etching step of immersing a base material containing an aluminum alloy in an etching solution containing chlorine/chloride ions to etch the base material, thereby forming irregularities on the surface of the base material; and an anodizing step of immersing, in an anodizing solution, the base material that has been subjected to the etching step, and applying current to the base material while the base material is used as an anode, thereby forming an anodization layer on the surface of the base material. |
