abstract |
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method for producing a catechin conjugate with high efficiency by a semi-synthesis process; and an intermediate for the production of the catechin conjugate. Provided is a method for producing a silylated catechin derivative represented by formula (III), the method comprising attaching a Cbz to a hydroxyl group located at position-3' or position-4' in a catechin compound represented by formula (I) to produce a compound represented by formula (II), then reacting the compound represented by formula (II) with a TBS-introducing agent in the presence of a base. |
