abstract | The present invention relates to: a method for preparing Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea containing a high content of low-glycosidic saponin and having reduced benzopyrene; and a method for preparing a Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea extract using Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea prepared thereby. The Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea prepared according to the present invention contains low-glycosidic saponin that has already been converted from high-glycosidic saponin, and thus the Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea itself may be used in various ways, and also, even when the Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea is extracted by a general method, and not by a high-pressure and/or high-temperature treatment, a high content of low-molecular effective saponin is brewed, and benzopyrene content is low, and thus the Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea is very useful. In addition, the method for preparing a Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea extract of the present invention is useful by, even without a high-pressure and/or high-temperature treatment, enabling obtaining a Gynostemma pentaphyllum leaf tea extract which has a high content of low-molecular effective saponin, such as ginsenoside Rg3, gypenoside L, gypenoside LI, etc., while also having increased extraction yield and low benzopyrene content. |
