abstract |
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a novel human-derived monoclonal antibody that binds to a spike (S) protein of a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) to neutralize the SARS-CoV-2; an antigen-binding fragment of the antibody; and a pharmaceutical composition containing the antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. The present invention provides: a human-derived monoclonal antibody against a SARS-CoV-2, which binds to an S protein of the SARS-CoV-2 to neutralize viral activities, including an immune escape mutation, of the SARS-CoV-2; an antigen-binding fragment of the antibody; nucleic acids respectively encoding the antibody and the antigen-binding fragment of the antibody; and a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing SARS-CoV-2 infection, which contains the antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. |
