abstract Provided is a method for producing pluripotent stem cells, the method being characterized by including a step 1 for introducing mRNA of a reprogramming factor gene into somatic cells, and a step 2 for culturing the somatic cells into which the mRNA was introduced, and also being characterized in that, in step 1, the mRNA of the reprogramming factor gene is introduced into the somatic cells in the presence of laminin having an α5 chain or a fragment thereof having integrin-binding activity.
