abstract A semiconductor material according to the present disclosure is represented by formula (I). In formula (I), R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. R 4 represents an aryl group, an amino group, a hydroxy group, or an alkoxy group. n represents an integer of at least 2. A photoelectric conversion element 100 according to the present disclosure comprises a first electrode 2, a photoelectric conversion layer 3, a hole transport layer 5, and a second electrode 6 in this order, wherein the hole transport layer 5 includes the semiconductor material according to the present disclosure.
