The invention relates to the preparation of a zeolite catalyst containing an AFX zeolite and palladium, wherein at least the following steps are performed: (i)tmixing, in an aqueous medium, a zeolite of the faujasite (FAU) structural type having a total molar ratio SiO 2 (FAU) /Al 2 O 3 (FAU) between 6 and 100, inclusive, of a nitrogenous organic compound MPC6, where MPC6 is the dihydroxide of 1,6-bis(methylpiperidinium)hexane, and at least one source of sodium cations, until a homogeneous precursor gel is obtained; (ii)thydrothermally treating; (ii)tfiltering, washing and drying, and then calcining the zeolite thus obtained; (iv)tperforming at least one ion exchange step so as to obtain a calcined AFX zeolite in the form of ammonium, which is again dried at a temperature between 60 and 120°C; (v)tdepositing a palladium solution. The invention also relates to the catalyst obtained and to the use thereof for the selective reduction of NOx. |
