abstract The present invention provides a method for producing memory T cells from naïve T cells, and a memory-T-cell-containing composition produced through the method. The present invention is: a method for producing memory T cells, the method having an activation step for activating naïve T cells using a differentiation inducer, and a memory conversion step for culturing activated T cells in the absence of a differentiation inducer to thereby produce memory T cells after the activation step, the activated T cells being cultured in a hypoxic environment in the memory conversion step; and a memory-T-cell-containing composition in which the total number of viable stem cell memory T cells, central memory T cells, and effector memory T cells is at least 20% of the total number of viable cells contained in the composition.
