abstract |
In order to differentiate follicular thyroid cancer (FTC) from follicular adenoma (FA), which has been problematic for conventional pathological diagnosis, a marker is provided in particular for which a clear cut-off value can be established. Provided is a method and kit for diagnosing the occurrence of FTC in a subject, which are characterized by detection of the expression of FAM19A2 in a sample derived from the thyroid tissue of the subject. |
