abstract | Provided is a testing device capable of identifying the position of a test region on a carrier even when there is positional displacement due to individual differences between cartridges. A testing device 110 is provided with: a loading unit 112 into which it is possible to detachably load a cartridge comprising a carrier 2 including a test region L1 having a color development state that changes depending on whether a specimen is positive or negative, and an indicator region which is disposed spaced apart from the test region L1 by a predetermined gap, and which is optically distinguishable from other regions irrespective of whether the specimen is positive or negative, and a case accommodating the carrier 2; light sources 115A, 115B for illuminating an observation region LA on the carrier 2 including the test region L1 and the indicator region; an imaging unit (sensing unit 114) for imaging the observation region LA; and a processor 120 which acquires an image including the observation region from the imaging unit, detects the position of the indicator region from the acquired image, and identifies the position of the test region relative to the detected position of the indicator region. |
