titleOfInvention Sensitive membrane and gas sensor
abstract Provided is a sensitive membrane which can reduce the influence by moisture and can provide a gas sensor that is reduced in the change in sensor properties over time. A sensitive membrane 20 is provided with a membrane main body 201 comprising a sensitive material and carbon black contained in the membrane main body 201. The membrane main body 201 can be expanded upon the adsorption of an analyte. The carbon black has a dibutyl phthalate absorption amount of less than 100 cm3/100 g. It becomes possible to inhibit the adsorption of moisture between particles of the carbon black, and it also becomes possible to reduce the change in the resistance value and sensitivity of the sensitive membrane 20 over time.
