titleOfInvention Modular cardiopulmonary resuscitation training device, simulating the thoracic characteristics of persons of different ages and of other animal species, and method for the manufacture thereof
abstract The present invention relates to a modular cardiopulmonary resuscitation training device, simulating the thoracic characteristics of persons of different ages and of other animal species, characterised in that it comprises an interchangeable compression module, designed to receive the compressions exerted by the hands of a user, the mechanical resistance properties whereof mimic the mechanical resistance properties presented by the chest of a person based on their age, or by the chest of another animal species, configured to be installed removably on a casing that houses and protects, on a base, a processing, logic control and auditory alert module with a preconfigured rhythm, rate and frequency of sound, based on the mechanical resistance properties endowed to said interchangeable compression module, which depend upon the type of chest to be mimicked, to repeat the chest compressions performed by a user for the practice of pulmonary resuscitation, being alerted aurally by means of a sound when the compression is performed at an ideal frequency between 0.5 and 15 Hz.
