abstract |
In this moisture content measurement method: dehydrated sludge is measured using an infrared measurement device comprising a light source that has a plurality of infrared LEDs that are each capable of emitting infrared light of different wavelengths or a light source that is an infrared tungsten lamp or halogen lamp and a light reception unit that is capable of receiving at least infrared light that has been reflected by a substance to be measured; the infrared reflectivity or reflected light absorbance acquired as a result of this measurement is subjected to first-order differential processing or offset correction and then subjected to multivariate regression analysis; as a result, a calibration curve for calculating the moisture content of the dehydrated sludge is obtained; and the calibration curve is used to calculate the moisture content of the dehydrated sludge. |
