abstract The embodiments herein disclose a system and method for developing a low-cost composite sheet for EMI shielding applications. A composite sheet is developed comprising of a continuous matrix with randomly dispersed conductive particulates such as carbon derivatives like carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), exfoliated graphite (EG), and graphite nanoplatelets (GNPs) therein along with a flexible graphite sheet. The composite sheets are formable and are of sufficient strength to act as structural components and are suitable for use in automotive components that require efficient EMI shielding.
