abstract The invention relates to the field of medicine, more particularly to reflexology, and can be used to monitor the effect of anti-hyperglycaemic preparations for diabetes and makes it possible to select, on an individual level, the most effective medicinal agent, the optimal dose thereof and time of receiving on the basis of an evaluation of the level of symmetry in the activity indicators of the left and right branches of certain acupuncture channels (AC) on which a certain medicine has an effect. The technical result is that of providing the possibility of individually selecting the most effective anti-hyperglycaemic agent, the optimal dose thereof and time of receiving, for diabetes mellitus (DM).
